Nancy Crouse Elected USIMLT Chairperson
| The 2011 election for the Board of Directors is over, and significant changes have been made to USIMLT leadership. Under the new by-laws, Board members serve a 4-year term with half of the 12 Board openings up for election every two years. At this election, 12 Board members were elected, half for a 4-year term, the others for a 2-year term. Board members elected to a 4-year term were Gary Crawford, Nancy Crouse, Ray Hopkins, Frank Kapper, Lee Shaver, and Harry Sparks. Board members elected to a 2-year term were Mike Arnette, Laraine Henley, Gene Kinnel, Mike McDaniel, Nori Thorne, and Tom Warabak. The outgoing Board members deserve Team USA's thanks for all their hard work and effort. New officers were elected as well. Nancy Crouse is the new Chariman, with Harry Sparks as Vice-Chairman. Laraine Henley was elected Secretary, and Frank Kapper took the post of Treasurer. |
Ilene Nichol Awarded Fundraiser Extraordinaire
Ilene Nichol has retired from the fundraising position. The Board expressed its
appreciation for her untiring efforts to raise badly needed resources for the USIMLT.
Her efforts have been so great that no one individual could replace her, but the team
of Harry Sparks, Mike Arnette, and Mike McDaniel will have to try. Along with the rest
of the USIMLT.
