Notice for Short Range Team

Keep Sending In Qualification Targets

Yes, you may be on the Team, but this is the time when you need to be training hard…because the European shooters will certainly be practicing. If possible, shoot your normal events and send in training targets.

Please put your name, date, match name or number, original or reproduction fire arm and weather conditions on all targets. Take a picture of the target(s) and send them to Bob Peloquin, Captain; Bob Lineaweaver, Pistol Lieutenant; or Mark Pafford, Long Arms Lieutenant .

Below is a sample of median scores for some of the most popular events:

Match #5 Cominazzo, flintlock smoothbore pistol, Qualifying scores, Original 70, Repro 83.

Match #6 Kuchenreuter, percussion rifled pistol, Qualifying scores, original 89, Repro 91.

Match #7 Colt, Original revolver only, qualifying score 86.

Match #12 Mariette, Reproduction revolver, 25 meters, qualifying score 89.

Match #23 Donald Malson, 50 meters, qualifying score original 69, repro 72.

And even if the weather is stopping you from going outside, you can always train with air rifle and air pistol.
